Weather outside - bright sunshine - cold wind - great winter’s day - with the occasional shower. The main thing is that it keeps like that - out tonight for a dinner - already selected the menu we are having - and it should be a good evening with members of the organisation SW… does voluntary work for. No drink I think owing to the need to drive home safely in whatever weather is thrown at us.
Meanwhile, what a joy to see Andy Murray’s fiance featuring in the papers for the swearing outburst in the first set of Murray’s match against Berdych in the Australian Open. Lots of needle from both sides - and she just made her point like a good old fishwife of old. Not sure why the papers are so concerned - nice that the Grauniad quotes her in full - no asterisks - how about this for a mouthful ‘Fucking have it, you Czech flash fuck’ as Murray broke back.
