Entry 15-01.28.27 in Book Two: The Fifteenth Year of the Third Millennium of the Common Era

Ufda… it was hard to get out of bed this morning. Since I’d added jogging back into my schedule, my body wants a healthy amount of sleep again. Add to that the fact that my wife has today off… so she stayed up super late last night… which meant I stayed up late (like 1ish) and.... it was difficult getting out of bed this morning!

Work! It was funny, the whole drive to work I kept thinking “Y’know… when I get home, I’ll flip a coin. Good Heads- I study; Bad Heads- I go back to bed.” Collecting and going over the paper work I kept thinking “Y’know… when I get home, I’ll flip a coin. Good Heads- I study; Bad Heads- I go back to bed.” In the court room waiting for the judge I kept thinking “Y’know… when I get home, I’ll flip a coin. Good Heads- I study; Bad Heads- I go back to bed.” THEN the judges switched… instead of the 5 minute judge, we had someone who actually does their job. And we had a murder. Because apparently we’re seeing the beginning of a gang war. Super. So work took a bit longer than I had wanted… no worries, part of me was still thinking “Y’know… when I get home, I’ll flip a coin. Good Heads- I study; Bad Heads- I go back to bed.” UNTIL preliminary hearing dates started getting set… February 25th and March 4! Yeah… that was… rather pants shitting. That we are already that close to Bar Exam and Post Bar Exam. So… no time to waste!!!

When I got home from work, I went into the bedroom to change out of my suit. The wife still slumbering away under the warm blankets… I was particularly envious. I really have been trying to work hard and get studying and everything done so… whether justifiably or not… I just feel like I haven’t really gotten to enjoy a lazy day of “sleep for as long as you want and then do whatever” in a while. Granted, if it is at all true… a necessary sacrifice for better things… but I’m still a touch envious. Then off to finish Torts! The Must Do goal for the day is to finish all of the Tort Videos and Exercises… if at all possible, I’d love to finish all of the Tort Videos and Exercises and all of the Criminal Videos and Exercises… but we’ll see how much time and energy I have as I go along!

OF COURSE...... so… the Torts Dude talks like he’s drunk… like… super drunk… and with the impulse to sleep already within me… I slept. So… woke up, reset the video and all prepared to get back into it… wife wakes up and is feeling horrid. Husband instinct kicks in to take care of her… and I’m only now getting back to the in-depth studying. So… maybe I will just push ahead until I get my minimums done and if I still have energy push forward.... like… no matter what time it is, just keep pushing forward until I completely run out of steam. Because… with today being an official Study Day in the schedule… it is a good day to play catch up. And with the Mid Term tomorrow… after the test, another good catch up opportunity. So if I can push it (insert Salt n’ Peppa joke) then I have a wonderful opportunity this week to get to where I want and need to be. So… maybe that’s the new plan for now. Just… really pushing forward.

Taking a break to eat some dinner. BTW- holy hell I hate this Torts teacher! Each video of his is 4 hours or more. But he only covers about 3 hours of materials at most per video. Dude… I get that this is your supplemental income and “yay people are paying attention to me” but… you have a job. Do your job then shut up. (Just… getting irritated at this guy who, cumulatively, will have talked for 15 hours of my life… easily wasting at least 3 hours of those with none important babble).

Though it may bother the wife… I’m going to start the next Tort Review Video. I want to get more work done before I really go to sleep. ALSO.... the computer keeps telling me it is the 29th of January. You shut up, Computer! It is not the end of January yet… I won’t believe that.

Hell, I could start a new day entry but… why? Haven’t slept yet, still working through everything. Finished Torts Video (thank GOD) and a few more quizzes… including the ever important Check Point Quiz

Only one thing left on my schedule… that is.... only one thing left on my schedule before I get to the things on my schedule for Thursday :p
