Weather, or not..... in blackpropaganda

As I started writing this there was horizontal hail blowing in front of the window with sleet and snow mixed in - and according to the weather forecast it is going to be hell over the next 24 hours.
I am working on the principle that the forecasters can often be wrong - see New York City - and after the failure to forecast a hurricane in the south of England in 1987 produce the most apocalyptic forecasts with dire weather warnings so that they can say ‘we told you’ or, ‘well it was not as bad as we expected.’ I am sure it will snow here at some point - but we are at low level so how much? who knows. However, if I was organising a walk for tomorrow, which I am not, but someone is, would I call it off now in the light of the forecast?
I think I would since other people would have seen the forecast too and be relieved they don’t have to worry about whether they should go walking or not.
What I hate most are the weather maps which have symbols on which have virtually no meaning - and cover up to 50 miles on the map.
In fact the main reason for looking at the forecast on the BBC in the morning is to fantasise over the very large breasts of Carol Kirkwood - joining a large number of men who adjust their pyjama trousers in order to cope with the extra pressure
Here’s Carol

There is also a forecaster on ITV at 10.30 pm, Lucy Veraswamy, who performs all kinds of contortions in order to both address the viewer and look at the map.

Anyway, the hail has stopped. it is melting - and I can see the next shower on the way - hold on - it’s snowing!!!!
