Sick by suggestion? in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Whoa baby. I feel, well my tummy feels awful this morning. J wanted Papa Murphy’s pizza for his actual and real bday supper last night so I obliged and picked up a couple of pizzas to cook at home. A and Owen came down too along with my dad who wasn’t feel good himself on the “party” Sunday. Dad loves Papa Murphy’s pizza so I knew he was feeling better when he agreed to come for the little celebration last night. A just barely ate any of the pizza as it made her sick a couple of years ago and she doesn’t trust it at all!! She mentioned getting sick after eating it several times and ate just a small piece for supper. Think its the first time she’s had any since it made her sick. Lo and behold at 3am my tummy woke me from a restless sleep and the morning only got worse. Blah!! I was hopeful that after a couple of hours that it would settle down and I could go on to work. Not to be I’m afraid. My stomach doesn’t hurt as bad as early this morning but it is in no way settled. I have contacted all that I need to contact when I have to call into work. THAT is a chore in itself. The secretary, the boss, and my employees. But all have either received a text or a message so I’m covered. I am going to take J to his pick up point for work and pray that all goes well and stays in place until I get back home.

The party on Sunday was good even though my dad didn’t come and my sister was called into work. Her hubby and Jack came and all had a good time playing and celebrating both birthday guests. My DIL’s birthday was on Sunday and I gave her money and one of the insulated covered dish carriers. I gave J some of his presents Sunday and the rest last night. He received his birthday card from our special and extremely thoughtful and sweet friend seafarer and even though there were 3 cards for him to open he wanted to open hers first.!! lol He loves those cards and what are in them!! Thanks my friend!!

Dad got a card from me to put some cash in for Jacob and as hard as she tried A couldn’t talk him out of any of his birthday money. Silly sister! It was sister teasing brother and all of us laughed when she asked him if she could borrow money from him to buy a part for her car, when he told her “mom do it”. Everyone thinks its fun to try and talk him out his money, but it just never works at home. I pray he is as tight with it at work too, but pretty sure he is or he couldn’t save like he does. He can have a wallet full of cash and I make him keep the majority of it put away in his room. We don’t go shopping as much in the winter and after Christmas so he is able to save more during the winter months. He will spend it though on PS games, CDs, or DVDs for himself. lol
