I am SUCH a note whore!
Beth, our German shepherd, is really bumming. Because of this lovely weather we're not having, she is spending too much time indoors. To relieve her boredom, however, she has taken to actively chasing the cats, and purposely snapping her teeth inches away from their behinds. Then she sits there and grins as they attempt to lick their proofed fur back into place.
Don't feel bad for the cats. We found a way to torture her back......but may have to desist as it is Turing out to be much more cruel than we'd anticipated.
See - we bought a laser light.
That's all.
Good night and God Bless!
No -wait....I'll tell you.
We bought the light under the guise of wanting to exercise the cats. We were lying to ourselves. We knew how funny it is to play Red Dot with the felines. What we didn't realize was how much funnier it would be to see a 90lb dog with a healthy prey drive chase after this killer red dot.
You guys.....it's worth it to get a big dog JUST to see this. And, she LOVES IT. The problem is - when we're done with the game, which is to say when we get bored, and put away the laser -Beth spends 5-10 minutes looking for red dot. Not just looking, but frantically looking. And it seems like every time we play, it takes her a little longer to let it go.
What does it say about us that we think this developing neurosis is funny as hell.
You know, this is one of those reasons that I believe that upon my death, when I part that final curtain and I ask the Intake Angel 'Stairs or slide?', the response will be, 'Come now, MJ! I think we both know the answer to,that one!'
