Almost but no cigar in In the Kingdom of Suzu

I was finally getting an MRI on my knee today and was anxiously looking forward to it. Could not get it done, as my expanders have metal in them! The technician thought it might be ok but to be on the safe side, she called the dr’s office and was told “absolutely not! Not until they are switched out”. Just great! That is probably not going to be for another couple of months! Oh well. I will call the ortho dr tomorrow and see if he can do something else.

One of the court girls resigned today. She was going to be terminated but they let her resign immediately. 1). They don’t need to pay her unemployment and 2) by having it effective immediately, they can start looking for a replacement right away.

She really should have been let go two years ago but they kept trying to work with her. She is a very nice person but not suited for the job. She would be better at a hospitality type of job as she is very personable, just does not have office capabilities.

Ah well, life goes on.
