XXXVIII in Magma

It’s my birthday and like most years I am at work, but I’ve got some jazz playing in the background while I slam away at the keys and get proposals done.

My son fell out of bed last night and smacked his head on the toy chest which gave me a fright, but I checked him for any contusions and again later in the evening and he seemed ok. This morning he woke just like any other day but man oh man did he give me a jolt.

In other news My son kind of has me hooked on Minecraft, simple yet fun. I can play without the guilt of stopping like other games.

Friday night we’ll be out for dinner for our birthday, Blackstone’s restaurant which should be fabulous. Maybe I’ll snap a photo or two.

Otherwise I think I’m in the right direction with my recovery, still have thoughts from time to time but I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t. Lots of regret and pain to come to terms with.
