I was going to write a quick hopeful thing here about Bar Exam Study… and then I realized it was the same crap I’ve been* saying and just haven’t followed through. SO**, with your permission, I’ll use this little moment as a great example of “I honestly do want many of my readers to know me, and this is a great opportunity for that.”

I am a list maker. I am a prolific list maker! I am also a prolific writer. I don’t just mean here… it is how I remember. Literally. Not… I write it down for reference. I learn by writing. When I used to work in the Best Buy Warehouse; the first week of training, I wrote down everything I was told on how things worked and what to do. My supervisor genuinely thought I was learning disabled because I had to write everything down! However, I shocked his socks off the next week. I didn’t reference my notes (much) but I did everything as if I had been doing it for a month already. Because… writing it down helps get it into my brain. Same with lists, really. I write a crap ton of lists so I know what I need to get done.

So, I was writing my study schedule down. How… if if I can bloody wake up, get out of bed, and sodding start my studying when I’m supposed to (!!!) then my schedule doesn’t look too terrible! It gets me through all of the required work with enough time for my own independently guided studying. However… I’ve said that before. So… either, I will succeed these next two weeks. Work my ass off. And feel, at least a teeny bit, better about my bar studying. OR I won’t… I’ll still feel like 38 tons of dog shit and I’ll feel as though I’m not worthy of passing the bar. So… fingers crossed!
