Pics, mud and chorizo in blackpropaganda

Two more pictures - one of the houses opposite us in the evening sunshine - and then the causeway we ride down on the bikes until we get to the windmill in the last entry. I like this one since it gives an idea of how empty it can be in winter.

And just found this one of the causeway when people are coating themselves in mud as a means of helping skin complaints and arthritis - they walk along drying the mud before washing it off. It leaves a really smooth feeling - all over!!!!!

And why am I so surprised about the weather - it is winter - but for two years we have had hardly any snow and coldness like this. All the things we were intending to do over the weekend will depend on what conditions are like - and there may be some issues with walking next week since leaders have to be careful about elf and safety - slippery pavements are not good!

Anyway - we have a fire going now - and will be having chicken and chorizo in rioja for dinner - a little bit of Spain - and we can lie down afterwards and not worry about driving anywhere.
