In 2005, we were high above the San Diego ZOO at Albert’s Restaurant. In back of George is a soft wall of Eucalyptus trees blowing in the winds. Today these trees have a bug, and they are dying. There is no cure yet.

I shoot with an old Canon PowerShot A650is that I drop often, unfortunately. I manipulate the images with Photoshop Elements 10 using a vague memory of old style darkroom techniques. Much to my pleasure, local colleges and universities are beginning to teach film photography again.

  • Himself: Vastly better. His brain is working again.
  • Herself: Pool, books…where I discovered the shelves moved all around, and a new rule that nothing was to go on top. Books fall behind and this makes the boss mad. Hand PT tomoorrow for the first time.
  • Reading: ”Bodies” the catalogue of the Bodies show.
  • Balance: Not letting anything get to me.
