Weight of Living in Every day scata

I’ve been dealing with back pain, on top of the fibro pain.

So I went to the doctor twice. First time, they diagnosed me with just sciatica. I could have diagnosed myself with that. Anyhoo, new meds given.

A month later with no relief, I go back. X-rays ordered and physical therapy. I get the x-ray results called to me. Arthritis. So there is no hope for it getting any better.

What they failed to tell me is that I also have levoscoliosis. Lemme Google that for you.” Levoscoliosis is considered a form of scoliosis. The standard definition of scoliosis is the curvature of the spine in one direction or another. Levoscoliosis is the curvature of the spine to the left side of the body. Levoscoliosis has the same signs and symptoms as the classical scoliosis, but due to the location of the heart there are added health concerns due to with the left curvature in the thoracic spine (midback). The spinal column has nothing to do with the function of the heart, but this curvature can put pressure on the ribcage causing deformation, subsequently impacting functionality of the lungs and ultimately the heart.”

All PT can offer me is some stretching so maybe some of the pain will let up. I’m willing to give it a try.

The thing is, I’m heading down the slippery slope of becoming disabled. Between the fibro getting worse, the bipolar battle in my head, and now all this. I am just not sure how much longer I can do my jobs. Sure, I can do my home health job… it’s rather easy as jobs go. But the CNA at the hospital? It just keeps getting worse (another FOAD letter is coming on that) staff wise. My body is just not up to the task.

I’m wanting to apply for a work at home job, but I have some questions for P before I fill out the application. I probably won’t get the job, but if I do get it, I want to be prepared.

I can’t talk to P about the disability thing. I know she is against it. She gets mad when I bring it up. But … grr it’s something we NEED to talk about sooner or later.

Well, that was another pity party of an entry. I shall be writing more later.
