I'm eating grapes, as a snack... in Chapter 6 : Just Beginning The Second.

Bub had his 27-month check this morning. I cannot even begin to tell you how proud I am of my little pest.
Firstly, it is still possible that he has ADHD and it’s also possible that he hasn’t and is instead incredibly gifted. Also, possible is the suggestion of it being a bit of both. However, HV has no concerns about this partly because and I quote “you put so much work into him that he’ll do fine until he starts his 3 year old place” and partly because if there is a problem, there’s nothing we could really do at the moment anyway but the nursery for his 3 year old place won’t hesitate to bring in an Educational Psychologist and get things put in place. Watching him today, she feels he is leaning more towards the gifted side of the equation than the ADHD but because of genetics she doesn’t want to rule it out and I’m to carry on as normal.
Secondly, for the first time in his entire existence, he is perfectly in proportion. Not only is he perfectly in proportion but he is now on the 50th percentile for both his height and weight. As a child who’s diet is strictly restricted because of allergies, this is an amazing acheivement for us both. I’m thrilled.
