Loser. in A small but passable life.

Once I got that last rant (yesterday’s entry) out of my system I was ready. Well, Mom and I were ready. We headed out a little after noon today.

First stop, Best Buy. We found the 32” LED Samsung for $199. And the 19” LED Insignia for $99. She also found a carry case for her tablet. And I finally found a charger for that 2gig iPod Shuffle I have that belongs to Francilynn.

Next stop, Walmart. I didn’t really want to be there but we found a 12’ HDMI cable. And I found a Nextbook 8 tablet that Mom bought me for Christmas. And then we bought groceries on our way out.

When we got back home I set the little TV up in Mom’s bedroom and set the big TV up in the living room. And I have to admit, the 32” does look rather fine. I still can’t believe how light those TV’s are. Crazy.

And then I sat down to play with my new tablet. The google chrome browser and youtube work fine.

I haven’t figured out how to get the supposedly free office suite to work on the tablet so I’m here typing on Word in the laptop. Even if I do get Word to work on the tablet I’ll still need to figure out how to copy and paste to the prosebox writing box.

So, having completely caved myself, and being an accomplice in wanton consumerism, I’m feeling rather chagrined.

Tomorrow I’ll start painting again. I think I’ve been sitting in this chair three days in a row too many.
