San Diego by the restaurants in keeping it postive

When I come to this city, there are a number of restaurants I just MUST “hit”.

1 - Cheesecake Factory - there’s one along the edge of the Fashion Valley mall - I don’t eat the dessert, but MUST have the avocado egg rolls! And a small salad, and wonderful bread. Yes, I’m DONE.

2 - the local (in walking distance) Mexican restaurant. This time had a burrito with pollo asado (roast chicken) - HUGE and rather greasy, again VERY tasty! And I ALWAYS have an horchata - it’s a creamy drink somewhere between eggnog and rice pudding.

3 - Denny’s - I like their senior menu and just discovered one of their “low cal” (not sureI believe them with all the potatoes and oil…) breakfast skillet - with veggies mixed with the potatoes, spinach and a lone sliced grape tomato with the omelet. Again… something to have another time also.

4 - Onami - Asian buffet with all you can eat sushi. I’m done - just had it today for lunch and I am so stuffed…

5 - Great Plaza - this one I go to with a friend as it’s in Pacific Beach - we eat and talk and can spend hours. Again, it’s an Asian buffet - though I like the American food there - fish, spinach, mashed potatoes.

6 - Indian Buffet - downtown, near Horton Plaza. I’ll get there if I actually BRING down the items I donate to a women’s shelter

7 - Sizzler - I go there with my buffet loving neighbor. We eat and talk for hours. I haven’t been yet, but depending on her health and energy, we may go in a couple of days.

I am sure there are more that I patronize on a regular basis, but that’s it for now.
