Halloween Wrap-Up in In the Meadow

We had a good time trick-or-treating. The kids took their pumpkin buckets. They are orange buckets in the shape of a jack-o-lantern. I got them at the dollar store. They are very similar to the ones I had when I was a kid. We left about 5:30 because it was going to be windy later on. There were already quite a few people giving out candy. We stayed close to home because of the wind and rain. The kids had a good haul. Their buckets couldn't have held anymore.

We were out for about an hour and then came back to hand out candy. I was surprised that we got quite a few trick-or-treaters despite the weather. The kids love to hand out candy. We also watched Halloween movies. The kids watched the Scooby-Doo movie.

On Friday night I started getting a cold and cough. I started coughing a lot on Saturday and Sunday. I was better yesterday and am much better today. Today I went to vote. It was all local elections and state referendums.

Also this week we are keeping diaries for the Nielsen TV ratings. We have a book for each TV and are writing down everything we watch. We finish tomorrow and then mail the book in on Thursday.
