After 4:30 this (Thursday, Dec. 18) afternoon I do not have to go back to work until 6 am on January 5, 2015.
I’ve been making lists of things to do:
List one:
1. Get in enough time on the computer 1,2,3
2. Play the piano. 10
3. Take your dog for walks each and every day, go all over, leave little poop piles to irritate the coyotes.
4. Send out Christmas cards. 5
5. Sweep the basement. 1
6. Go to a hockey game.
7. Go to insurance appointment at Gundersen on the 29th at 1 pm with Janey in Onalaska across from Tractor Supply. 11
8. Call the doctor or more likely her nurse and ask about results of tests in October.Bone density, breathing, etc. I guess I passed the mammogram and possible the poo test. 4
9. Get some more sleep - naps maybe? - Stripey Butt suggestion. 5
10. Do sudokus. 1,2
11. Write to Frank.
12. Do crosswords in old New Yorks.
13. Paint my toenails.
14. Make soup. 1
15. Go across the creek.
16. Write more in prosebox. 1,3
17. Take and post pictures in prosebox and facebook. 1
Another seventeen?
List two:
1. Take books and tapes back to library. I have a couple tapes left in the Hamill book. I won’t get it finished tomorrow. That is some sort of a shame. Hamill’s book on tape is called North River and I have the Hunter Thompson and Paul McCartney biographies to take back to the library.
2. Maybe I’ll cut my hair. Wash it? Or brush the snarls out of it.4 Pay someone to cut it? Now that might be an adventure.

6. Get rid of some of them?
7. Spay the cat. Are there demos on youtube? I’d have to do it between midnight and 5 am when the internet is free. 2 Made appointment on 30th.

14. Buy and wrap prizes for the Festivus Game Tournament slash Tests of Strength. With luck we will skip the Airing of Grievances. done over several days
