Just yesterday, a young 16yo girl was killed, her boyfriend critically injured. This breaks my heart.

This has been a season of blood. This has been a year of blood in the streets. It makes me want to hold my family that much closer. No matter how close I keep them, they still have to venture out. That comes with risks. It shouldn’t have to though.

I’m okay, but I’ve been wanting to say this for awhile to someone. ::sigh::
