Perry and Arlene showed up about 10:30am this morning. We headed to Village Inn for a brunch, even though it was getting closer to lunch.
We wandered over to Scottsdale to the place. https://www.smoca.org/ Mom and Arlene weren’t impressed, but I thought it was great. Of course Perry and I were very familiar with the subject, but I thought it was great to see the subject matter turned into art.
We wandered back to Mom’s place and Mom gave them a tour of all the facilities here. I guess it was a tour for me too since I’d not seen all the rooms.
Back at Mom’s place we had coffee and then they were on their way. I had to call them back to the house because Perry had dropped his keys on the loveseat.
Perry had given me a DVD he’d made from some of his old 8mm films and camcorder movies. It was thirty minutes long. I loaded it into the laptop and edited a lone minute out.
That’s the knucklehead Cla walking up. I’m in the back of the truck. And that’s my first wife Christy and the damn dog, Hobo. The year is 1980.
So yeah, it was a busy day. Mom says we’re taking tomorrow off. At least until the Christmas concert tomorrow evening. If only she’d let me sleep past 7am!
