Abby Normal in 2014

I got the results for the x-rays back today.

The middle of my spine, where the pain is centered, shows no signs of fractures, compression or ruptures.

However, the lower part of my spine is abnormally straight, which is apparently a normal thing to see on x-rays when there are muscle spasms in the low to midback.

It’s abnormal but normal.

Just call me Abby Normal from now on.

The muscle relaxer and antiinflamatory seem to be doing their jobs. While I still hurt and still have spasms, it’s bearable. I put myself on bed rest for my two days off and that seems to have helped a lot. I went back to work today and, while I m hurting worse now than I did last night, it’s not worse than I expected. I knew being up and about would probably have that effect. I got myself a comphy chair for my desk, one I can adjust to where I’m a bit more reclined than a regular desk chair would allow.

Since I stayed in bed for two days with my laptop, I leveled my Paladin on WoW from 94 to just a tad shy of 99. Woot! I’ve almost caught up to Ben!
