Oh, hey. in A new beginnging.

A little over a month, huh? Funny how much has changed…

Sunday was my last day at P46. I know, right?

I have been unhappy there for awhile. Making no money, working shit hours, and doing more and more work and not getting any benefit from it. Lets face it, ever since Kelsey left, it hasn’t been the same. It’s hard to have your best friend leave and then all of the sudden have no buddy. Then things that weren’t affecting you, suddenly do.
So on a Friday I applied to a few Byerly’s that were hiring cake decorators. Saturday I got called in for an interview. I was hired on my interview.

To make a long 2 weeks into a few sentences…putting in my notice at P46 was hard, but went well. I told chef I would like to stay on PT, said if he needed to think about that, I understood. “I don’t need to think about it, I absolutely want you to”

Great. Since I am PT at Byerlys to start, this solved my financial stresses.

Saturday, the day before my last “official” day at P46, chef says I am “not needed” to stay on. So he strung me along for 2 weeks, me thinking I had a PT place there to help out my old station. Man child. I was pissed. So all of the sudden Sunday was my ACTUAL last day. i went in with my head held high, and when I left I wished everyone luck and said my goodbyes.

Today was my first day at Byerlys. It went very well. It feels really good to be decorating again and to work in a place where I have the same rules as everyone else. Also a job where I will never work earlier than 7am, and where I am making 4$ more an hour. AND where I will get benefits. AND where I will have room to grow and have more opportunities.

So yeah, huge changes.

This means I can have a life again. That I can stay up past 7pm, and that I can have WEEKENDS!

Right?!

This means that when I went to Doomtree last night and didn’t get home until 1am, I wasn’t DEAD this morning, because I still got 5 hrs of sleep.

so I can officially NEVER complain about “having to get up early” again lol

I have work tomorrow, and 2 more Doomtree shows this weekend.

Yes, finances are going to be tight for awhile. I think I am going to need to start donating plasma again. I wish I still had a couple more weeks to prepare for Christmas, I am going to need to get a little creative with my gifts this year.
