Days of wine.. and funnies in blackpropaganda

Still windy, with sleet and snow forecast - and sunny at C17 degrees in Spain - hi ho!
We are in the middle of some heavyish drinking - last night we were at a wine tasting which ranged from cava through three white and five reds to port and brandy. OK, there were only tasting samples but still there is some alcohol there with some wines at over 14 %.
Needless to say it was a taxi home - and I was accused of bring a little too merry.
It continues this afternoon with a Wine Group tasting - about 30 people enjoying a number of wines brought by members - I guess there will be about six - we start with champagne and finish with vintage port - in this case 1994. Tenty years old and just been decanted to get rid of the sediment - we had to check the bottles were OK - and it was wonderful.
A little damper on things last night was when one of the lady participants collapsed on her way to the toilet since she did not feel well. Luckily a friend was with her - she called the ambulance - the paramedics checked her out - and she sis not want to go to A & E - all tricky since she had driven a couple of other participants to the tasting - but they got a taxi back, put her up in their place overnight since she lives on her own, and picked up her car this morning. It could have been just a faint - but someone though it was more like a TIA. Anyway - the tasting went on regardless!!!!
