Oh what a palaver, I can’t find my winter coat with a hood, I don’t usual like coats with hoods but our last winter made having a hood a necessary; you recall my entices and the thousands of news stories of our wettest winter since records began – just in case you ask – 1766.

Well winter is here, and resent days have been cold but thankfully not at wet as last winter, I had vivid images of my self putting said coat with hood into a vacuum bag, they are great for storing cloths through a season until they are needed once more; a minute with the vacuum-cleaner hose attached your flimsies are compressed to a solid block. In that state, your cloths keep clean a quite fresh.

My vision of my solid winter coat included my placing in the storage space under the floor, once in that space I found all sorts of things including cloths, but not a winter coat with hood. Next I took a look round the garage, cloths in vacuum-bags yes but not any of mine! Under my bed – no, a second look in that space under the floor, I’m getting edgy now …!!

This morning I was sent to our rented storage room, mostly for our boxes with Christmas inside, there was a half vision of myself placing the hooded coat in there as spring was sprung; NO!

There was a third trip beneath the floor, this time with Sweethearts eyes as well as mine, I think two sets of are like three sets compared with just the one pair; no but we did some one’s else’s cloths! Then we went down to the garage together, we found a tray we had been looking for but; a tad later for why we needed it but no sine of the coat! So much for all those eyes!!!!!!

So we returned to the bungalow wondering where to look next, Sweetheart was walking through the hall, she stopped and said ‘we haven’t looked here’ I joined her as she opened the door to the closet in the hall, she pulled out a black arm, then the body came out followed by a hood ……

Sweetheart laughed first and followed very soon by myself, for some resign we don’t the closet much, it’s not very deep so I suppose it is always full; just now there is room for one!

Palaver meaning a prolonged and tedious fuss or discussion! Well it was all of that, and I think it’s use is mostly in the UK, just in case you think it should be ‘Oh what a pullover’

Pullover, A garment, such as a sweater, that is put on by being drawn over the head.

Blushing, well a little ………………

Note, no no there are defiantly no photographs!
