The plan was to use the paper journal I’d brought and then transcribe to Word later and then post to prosebox later still. The reasoning was that Mom had said that her wifi wasn’t working in her house, but only working in her sewing room and patio outside.
Well, the wifi is working just fine for me, after she had finally found the log-on password. So I’ll be scribbling on and posting from the laptop.
I finally got to lay out by the pool yesterday. A couple of hours until it got kind of cloudy. I also went over to the RV park’s library and found a sci-fi hardcover.
We’ve been prepping Mom’s little place to get it ready to paint. We’re going to start at the very back in her bedroom and work our way to the front. We’re not going to paint the ceiling, just the walls. After it is painted we’ll clean and return everything to its place.
Today Mom and I started out at her hairdresser’s. I was planning on just wandering around the strip mall hell until she was done. No such luck. As I was walking past the salon a cute little gal stepped out the door and said my Mom needed me. As soon as I got in the door they told me I was getting a haircut. Okay.
So now Mom is coiffed and happy and I’m handsome.
We ended the day at Village Inn for an early dinner. Free pie!
Tomorrow it is supposed to be 78 degrees and not cloudy. I’ll be the whitest old man at the pool once again.
Anyway, I think it’s time to eat my pie I brought home for later.
