After Earth in Reviews

I am amazingly disappointed in Will Smith's acting in this movie. I spent most of the weekend watching movies, a couple had Will Smith in the starring role: I, Robot and I am Legend. I love both of those movies (though both of those are classic books too...) This movie is almost like Will Smith didn't even try to act. Or maybe his character is just so unlikeable and the distant father figure that it is impossible to like him?

I wasn't terribly impressed with his son either. Which is kind of unfortunate.

Not to say that there wasn't a few moments of wow. But, overall. meh.
