…hadn’t realized it had been so long since I wrote and entry. Guess time has gotten from me with haunted house/work. I am currently going on day 17 of straight work… Monday will be my first day off… its been good to know that I will have money in the bank, but sad to know I have no life due to it, and that it will be mostly gone on payday....
Still waiting to figure out what to do about Ds paperwork. Friend of ours is trying to get us in to a good lawyer she knows, and is also willing to help us with what we need to get the money down for the first half of the payment we would need. On the plus side, D could be working again within a year (roughly 9 months to get a work permit via paperwork filing and crap), down side, it will be at least another year before he’s working again… /sigh
We got this…
as long as I keep up the two jobs and don’t take to big a knock in hours after the holidays…
I had tried to get a new job that would have been more hrs and more money, we would have been set, but unfortunately it didn’t pan out.

Also had to break it to the folks that we would not be home for Christmas this year. Just can not afford the $300 it would cost for the shuttle ($75/pp each way).
It went over easier then I hoped. Dad (who usually throws the most fits) was disappointed, as was mom, but didn’t give me the fight I was expecting to come out of him.
I am waiting to see if a friend of mine will be in the city before the holidays, and if she is, I am going to send a few things home for them with her.

Other then that, not much else new here with us… or friends M&G bought a house, and wanted to make plans to have us move in to the basement after they had a building built next summer that would have an apartment in it for her son and his girlfriend, but the house is 35minish outside the city, and other then the summer with the bike, we would be relying on G or the son to get in to the city as we don’t have car licenses, and I do not feel comfortable to get behind the wheel of a car. That, and I enjoy my privacy to much. would have to share the kitchen (Ms Italian, cooks ALOT and is very territorial over her kitchen) and the bathroom we would have is also upstairs, so there goes THAT privacy as well, so no shared baths/showers then scuttling back to bed sans clothes if the mood struck. also no private entrance, so all going in and outs would be through the main house. and I would not be comfortable inviting people over in someone else’s place.

would be nice to save the money, even for a year, but it would drive me crazy. I would rather save the relationships between the 4 of us then the cash.
