Tick, tock. Tick, tock.

This morning I put the battery charger on the van and then Jassy and I went to do some running around. We went to the welfare office so she could turn in her application for food stamps. Apparently they do only phone interviews now. We went to the tax office so I could pay the property tax on the van ($5.48). We went to the library so I could get online and print out my boarding pass. That cost a whole ten cents. Better than paying $5 at the airport.

On the way back to the apartment Jassy had a flat tire on her car. I didn’t take too long to stop and put the donut on. She was pretty bummed about it because she has no money to get the flat fixed right now.

Back at the apartment I finished cleaning the van out. I hauled everything upstairs. It is definitely too much crap. I left the double summer sleeping bag rolled up and stashed in the van in my old Army duffel bag. It hasn’t been washed in four-and-a-half years but at least it is there for emergencies. I also left some car camping odds and ends in the van. I put the rear seat back up into the bench seat configuration. I may not be sleeping out there tonight. I may just go out and walk around all night.

After I finished with that I decided to walk over here and spend the rest of the afternoon at the student union.

Jassy says dinner will be ready about 5:30pm. Cheeseburger pie!!! I already did the dishes for her this morning.

This evening I’ll try to get everything stashed away in the extra closet. And then I’ll try to get myself cleaned up and presentable.

And then I’ll wait until the flight out tomorrow morning.

Tick, tock. Tick, tock.
