Whose Voice? in Voices Windward

I’m not against the rich celebrities supporting, I’m against them leading without living and I’m against the way people faun forgiving of corrupt natures and actions and I’m against the way that in reality, we still need them to have a fucking camera turn up.

The same reasons why many have concerns over white people leading the way of a black movement, of men talking about feminism over women, of Cis voices being note worthy while queer ones get hushed, is part of the reason I’m so disturbed by millionaires doing all the talking for the poor.

We have our own voices, the people would hear them, if only you’d shut up.
