Prompt – . Things I always did with my mom when I was little .

H-mm-m-m

This is a little harder.

Please remember that I loved my Momma and she loved me.

It’s just that she found me to be such a weird child.

And.. I found her to be such an inexplicable person.

I think that I remember playing jacks and pick-up-sticks with she and Daddy (to teach me to share). I don’t remember her playing with me after Daddy left for the Navy, though.

I remember, when I was very small, imitating her with a tiny broom and iron and toy kitchen things.

I remember, in my teens, embroidering when she did at night (Daddy worked nights on the newspaper.) but I think that Granny was the one who taught me.

The thing I remember most about Momma was she and Daddy laughing together.

I think that’s enough.
