doughnuts in Living off the Grid

My sister and I had such big plans to take Seattle by the horns and go on all the excursions that we had so carefully planned, but sometimes the best laid plans don't seen to work out.

We did go to Top Pot Doughnuts. I grew up with Mark & Mike Klebeck who are the founders of Top Pot. He is my facebook friend.

The name "Top Pot came from a vintage neon sign that was above a boarded Chinese restaurant called "topspot". Mark and Mike bought the sign and left it in a backyard for four years. By the time the sign was restored the center "S" had fallen off leaving the words Top Pot.
