Last night, 9:30 pm the crossing gates in Little Silver at the RR Tracks malfunctioned. It took me about 30 minutes to get out of the mess. I detoured through Oceanport and just knew as I did so that the gates were fixed 3 minutes after I detoured. I watched crazies going through the gates and driving over the tracks. One train passed but luckily no one was crossing then.
Need I add that while I watched these idiots weave through traffic and through the RR Gates I was thinking to myself. “Where is there a Train or a Cop when you need one ? ”
