Holiday theme? - 23/01/2002 in Opendiary Archive

Surely in the middle of winter is the best time to have this theme in the world? Perhaps I’m the only one who thinks so.

However, you’re several paces behind me friends. My holiday is to be the rest of my life, if all goes to plan.

What do I mean? I mean that my plan is to get out of this world I live in and see a better one. I’m going to get together some money and then leave, and see where I end up. I want to spend the rest of my days ending up somewhere.

I can’t stand the idea of not seeing everything. So much to see and so little time to see it all. It’s overwhelming.

Ok, so the likelyhood of it happening is 12 to the power of my overdraft, but I can dream can’t I?

I’m going to start out in Scotland, and go to Inverness. Then travel right the way through britain, down to the south coast, and head across to france. Quick jault through the southern vine yards, and I’ll be off to spain, down to the costa del sol. Then easterly through to italy, and greece. Stop in Athens for a while, and the North east till I get bored. From there, I’ll see where the wind takes me.

Yup. I like my dreams. They tell me who I am.
