I’ve been reading te past few entries and it seems all I do anymore is answer questionairres. Which is dull, in order to spice up this existence, I’m going to explain some more life to myself.
Detox hell? Well do you know what detox if for a start?
No?
Your body has an inbuilt equilibrium. Sort of a recipe for happiness, it’s what allows you to function at optimum level. Your body is constantly updating what it requires.
However, if you drink, eat, smoke, or whatever, excessively, your equilibrium gets thrown off in the direction of what you need. Caffeine addicts like me, will relate to this, when you get up in the morning andactively feel sick until you have some coffee.
Well, when you feel like that it’s quite scary, and affects the way you think. When it gets bad enough, that’s when you detox.
How do you detox? Well it’s kind of like going cold turkey, only more so. You actively do tings which tell your body you need the drug, and then you don’t take it. It my case I have been actively putting myself in areas where I normally drink caffinated or sugary drinks, and then going without.
It’s hell in a plane only addicts can understand. Imagine being a smoker, and having just quit, finding yourself on a train where EVERYONE smokes, and someone offers you a fag.
Bad huh?
Practical upshot I’m feeling like hell at the moment. Why do it? It’s simple, it restores your bodies natural balance. Then when you start again, you get the buzz like you did when you first did it. Also you don’t feel fucking ill all the time.
Detox. Try it.
