Then I’ve got to do some work. Eeeeeww. don’t you hate work? It’s responsible for the decay of society, I’m sure of it. Well probably not actually. When I think about it, lack of work is probably responsible for the decay of society. But hell, you know what I mean.

So yes, a poem. Erm. Ok, here’s one I wrote the first time I upset my girlfriend. On reflection I write a lot of my poems when I’m feeling guilty. Perhaps there’s something in that. Or maybe not. Who can say? Anyways. Hope you enjoy it.

WHAT IS RIGHT?

A question asked a thousand times,
hinted in stories, poems and rhymes,
The course of desire, to feel and to be,
For evil, for good, or for the evil in me.
In a world filled by hatred, despair, shock and pain,
a bright flash of summer is mine once again
The hurt and the anguish have all fled away
soothed by the balms of a new hallowed day.
And as I look deep into your eyes,
a multitude of images that shouts, screams, and cries
A pain which is mirrored, and as it seen
hides away from the mind like the mist in a dream.

Is this to be right, all the pain that is brought?
The happiness, feeling, will all come to naught.
A world fed on anguish, woes, sorrows, and sighs,
cannot even look at the pain in your eyes.

Wow. Deep huh? Nah, not really. Just a thought.

Erm. Bye.
