But who gives a damn eh? I mean, noone said you had to read this stuff did they? Well good. Glad we agree.

So assuming that you’re still reading (if you weren’t you couldn’t read this, so it’s a fairly safe assumption). I think we can talk.

“You can sing to my cat if you like”.

This one is great. It’s about assumptions. We all make them, and we all like to think our assumptions are correct. I’m making one right now. I’m assuming you make assumptions (stop me if I’m getting too technical).

And we like to think we are the only ones free of assumptions. Even the alternatives think this. But they’re not. They assume too much. They assume they are mis understood. They assume that all the people who hang around outside Spar are trendy A*es, who want to hurt them. In a lot of cases they’re right. Assumptions do that to you. The more you find out you’re correct, the more you presume you are. And just when you think you can’t possibly get it wrong, bamn, life deals you a blow you didn’t expect.

The point behind this? I’m not saying don’t presume anything, because I honestly don’t think that’s possible (of course that’s just a presumption). But try to think about it. The most obvious answer is not always the correct one. Those of you who’ve never seen me before, form a mental picture of me in your mind. I guarentee it’s wrong.

So just try and think before you presume to judge. After all, if it turns out you were right, you’ve lost nothing. And it’s so much better then the alternative.
