Feeling gooooooooooood.
More ooooooo then a bag of hoops. My life is on a proverbial roll, and I like it this way.
I’m off home tomorrow to see my girlfriend. We’re going to be crappy and watch Videos and eat Pizza. This is the way life should be. If all anyone ever did was this, we would all be well fed, and like videos. Or something.
Rambling thought for the day: If genetics are the blue print of life, why are we all a fleshy pink colour?
Ah yes. Been playing Discworld Noir today. I’m doing well, and have nearly solved the murder mysteries. I like murder mysteries. Arthur Conan Doyle is one of my favourite authors. Read “The Sussex Vampire”, it’s quite amusing.
What to discuss today? I didn’t sleep in. Which is good. I find that if I sleep in short gaps, I tend to wake up with more desire to get into the day. Is that just me or is it you too?
So, I’ve been told we sleep in 4 hour bursts, and the reason we wake up tired, is because we’ve woken up half way through one of those bursts. Makes sense. This means no matter how much sleep you get, if you don’t wake up on a multiple of 4, you feel tired. It also mean the universe likes maths.
Duplicity for the day. Bush has just offered Afghanistan $320 million extra to help them through this winter. He said:
“In our anger, we must never forget that we are a compassionate people. “
“While we firmly and strongly oppose the Taleban regime, we are friends with the Afghan people.”
He’s such a nice fellow. The only problem I have with him, is that He isn’t sure which people are innocent.
Here’s a nice view on innocence.
“Innocence is that property someone will lose as a result of having their country bombed”.
No matter what our reasons, or how much we give food. Noone in Afghanistan will ever forget we bombed them. Have we forgotten WWII yet? There you go then.
People I try to explain this to say I “can’t see the big picture”. Perhaps that isn’t a bad thing. Perhaps seeing the little pictures is good. Think for a moment of every person who died at the Twin towers. And will die in Afghanistan. Not all of them at once. But think of every single person. Got that thought in your mind? Then you have a larger mind then I do. Every single person you’ve ever spoken to is a mere speck compared to how many have died, and will die before the Taliban play dead. Think about that.
This was intending to be a bright and cheerful message. Coz I’m still actually in quite a good mood. But I need to pose my view point. I’m just hoping someone can prove me wrong, and say that whatever we get out of this is worth the consequences.
Stay froody
