'And so I progress' in The odd entries from life …….

I dread what the Christmas adverts will be like once we are in Advent, here we are in mid November and the festive sell is in full swing, we have had all manor of perfect Christmas’s paraded before us; each needing a number of perches from the self’s of a unblushing retailer!

Note. Some will know me well enough that spelling is not always that words flow on to the page or screen smoothly, I had several goes at advertments or advertmes, spell-check offered ‘advert ants’ with a sigh I tried again and advert appeared this time on the screen!

I do openly admit I have enjoyed several mince pies, and my waist can back me up, but other Christmas activities I have put to one side, but I know I need some balance, to much rush in late advent is not fun; so perhaps it is time to make a few notes, I often start by buying festive wrapping paper; then things to wrap seem to come to me – often in a ‘I quite like ….’ And I say ‘what was that!’
