I got to work at around 9:30 - nice late opening for the day.

There are two district attorneys who MUCH prefer working with me than with the regular interpreter, so they were VERY happy I was there. (Nice ego boost!!)

I had called a young man the day before, and he was there on time. We went through his story. When the DA got the time too go into grand jury - 4:15. Oh, boy.

Then, I read… I finished one book and started another while waiting. Went out to have a HUGE lunch - there’s a wonderful place nearby. I also went to buy my ticket for the Saturday matinee: You Can’t Take It with You (http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/29/theater/you-cant-take-it-with-you-handled-properly-ages-well.html)

And waited. Then two more district attorneys came by - each needing me around 4 p.m. Oh, boy, this is going to be interesting.

When all was said and done, I left at 6:15. So glad for a HUGE lunch and overtime pay.
