Strawberry Cherry Compote in Tales from the kitchen witch

This is to go on top of a new bread im testing out. That recipe will come later if its good!

But the compote is *Kiss*

2 cups diced strawberries. Fresh is awesome. Now Mine were tart! 

1 cup diced cherries. 

1 cup white sugar

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup molassas

1-2 tablespoons vanilla.

Simmer until your fruit is soft and breaking down.

Add in 1 tablespoon cornstarch and stir like crazy. Taste test for flavor! 

Pour over your coffee cake, pancakes or other bread treat!
