Success! in Life in General

Pool pump is working again! The pool was like a thick neon green and after adding some salt to the pool the chlorine generator started doing its thing and after about 6 hours the pool was a nice blue (with a slight hint of green still) so the pool guys coming tomorrow will have a heck of a time dealing with all that! haha. Anyway I was super proud I was able to fix that for under $15. This morning the pool guys came out and everything was good. They definitely chlorinated the heck out of the water because it’s pretty cloudy right now but that usually clears up in a day or two.

Also if you’re thinking about getting a pool… don’t. Unless you have lots of kids, it aint worth it.

Also I had a visit with my hearing aid doctor today. They were doing some weird stuff with the microphones but I’ll spare you the details it’s really nitpicky but she was able to sort it out! She’s really nice and been patient with me, which I’m grateful for because the tinnitus has been SO much better with the hearing aids.

I’m also officially down 12 lbs now! Yay ozempic. I did finally move up a dose this week so now I’m on 0.6mg and honestly the side effects were about the same so I’m not concerned about ramping up now. And oh boy has it been working, Wednesday night I literally forgot to eat dinner haha. That has never happened to me before… ever. So if I keep losing weight regularly on this 0.6 I may just keep it there to try and stretch out this medication as long as I can. Because, again, there is no telling if I’ll even be able to get my second shipment.

Also an update on the sleep apnea. The CPAP place called and wanted to set up an appointment and towards the end of the call they talked about pricing and it would be $1200 dollars even with my insurance. Yeah no… I’m good. I’ll survive without it.
