Silly String Prank in Everyday life

I know I'm a pretty boring person on here but writing helps me process my days. 

The kids got my husband good for April Fools day. My daughter and I made up a little plan so after I dropped the kids off at school, I went to the dollar store and picked up a couple cans of silly string. After the kids came home from school, I told my daughter to tell him the dog was digging in the backyard again. While she was doing that, my son was waiting outside with the cans of silly string. When they got him outside they bombarded him saying April Fools! They were very pleased the plan worked and husband was even surprised they were able to trick him. I mean, I pretty much came up with the whole plan, but the kids performed it perfectly. I just wish I was fast enough to catch it on video.

My daughter's gymnastics pictures were sent out today. She looks so grown up. The girls looked like they had a lot of fun doing them. Now I need to figure out how I'm going to display them.

This weekend is Districts for them. It's only about a 4 hour drive and we'll only need to stay one night so the cost won't be so bad this time. I do my own nails so I plan to do them purple, pink, and silver for their colors. This is my daughter's first year competing so I'm not sure how well she'll do at districts but she has improved so much this year and she has fun so that's all that matters.

It's been weighing on my mind a lot that I need to keep doing my crafting hobby. I enjoy doing it but I always seem to put it on the back burner. I just need to make a point to set aside some time each week. I don't get why it's so hard for me to do.
