Greeeeeeen in Life in General

The color of my pool this morning. I have noticed it’s been looking nastier each day and I was wondering why so I finally go out to investigate today and sure enough the pump isn’t running, but it is fire hot.

It makes a buzzing sound but doesn’t spin so I assume it got jammed up with something, but I took it out and it was spinning freely and then I noticed it has a capacitor right on top very similar to an ac compressor.

Sure enough I’ve replaced these same style capacitors on an AC unit before for the same reason, humming sound but no spinning.

So I go on Amazon and it’s $15 to replace it. That’s crazy cheap. We’ll see if it works!
