3/24/25 MERT in Meaningful

0130: patrolling perimeter of campus for vandals, been an uptick in activity from upset neighbors. Right after I called in for my first break the alarm pager rang. I was called to the scene while my partner was mobile as to escort the ambulance and fire truck. I’d been through emergencies with him before so I knew I wasn’t going to have to babysit. Once I arrived there were a couple employees and 3 supervisors around the passed out employee. They were breathing and stabilizing by the time the ambulance arrived but had thrown up and too dizzy to stand. I ran outside and had to escort the medics and firemen through 3 security door checks/electronically scanned by my badge only. When in a hurry and carrying a stretcher it is a maze and time consuming. Annoying. Everything went smooth and the employee refused to go to the hospital. Next, I waited an hour and a half until their husband arrived. I flagged him down and helped the weak wife to their vehicle. My feet hurt and I craved a cigarette. Easy, exciting, happy ending, no problems. I personally got recognition, go graveyard team!
