It’s been a year after I resumed writing consistently. Many things have changed since then.. I’d like to think there were multiple take-away points, and as I proceed with the first day of this new book, I look ahead with optimism.

Sleep last night was good, albeit with the usual case of weird dreams once more. For some reason, such has been the case in recent weeks (months, even). I don’t know what really causes this - maybe exhaustion from work, remnants of the past, or whatever reason there might be. If anything, I’m just glad that none of said dreams have been disturbing and the fact that I haven’t taken my anti-panic medicine for the past 20 weeks is proof enough. The past year has also taught me to seek help when needed, and to tough things through.

Work was quite good today - I won’t say exactly chill since I had a 50 pager document to review, but glad that I was able to deliver without any other major issues coming my way. I think I was busy for about the first half of my shift then died down. Great stuff, really.

Earlier’s training menu was push day. The gym was ridiculously packed - fully occupied even, which was the busiest I’ve seen it. Pump and strength were really good as I hit solid numbers. Post-workout cardio on the treadmill was easy too.

I’m happy that the first day of the week went well. Here’s to hoping the trend remains consistent this week.

Overall rating for the day: 10/10
