My day with something for cunning linguists in blackpropaganda

Mondays have become activity days.
First of all the usual walk in the morning - there can sometimes be over 40 people on the walk which are led by those os us who have been trained - actually, training is common sense about how to run a walk (so to speak) in terms of safety etc - especially crossing roads - although older people can be worse than kids in listening to you give the ‘command’ about crossing roads - because they are chatting!
It was a chilly morning, but dry - which is great for walking - especially along one of the paths near the coast. By the time we were finsihed we were all ready for coffee etc.
Then after a light lunch off to ballroom dancing for two hours - well, more like 90 minutes with the tea break - which is enough when you are doing the waltz, and then the jive. Some people have never danced before but are doing well - and there are 10 couples. It is always funny to see people walking by commenting on these people waltzing around the floor.
Being up on your toes certainly tests muscles you have nor used much lately (ohh mrs) - but we all give each other moral support - and should I comment on the lady with the rather wonderful bum in tight jeans? No perhaps not.

Anyway - there is time afer the dancing to have a sit down before eating - have a go at the Grauniad crossword, and watch Pointless (anyone in the US will not know what I am writing about!)

Anyway - it is better than working!
