Hey everyone,

I spent some quality time reading through your survey results over the last few weeks and sifting through the data. I’m genuinely blown away by the excellent response we had. I know survey results can get dry fast, so I’ve done my best to pull out the interesting bits. Let’s dig in!

First, a few choice quotes that I think capture the spirit of the responses we received:
“I love how deeply personal this community can be. It’s a safe space to vent and find empathy.”
“My only complaint is that I keep telling my friends to join, and they get hooked right away!”

A large portion of you mentioned you’ve been writing online diaries for many years, and Prosebox has become a second home. Others came aboard more recently — some just in the last few months — but already feel that sense of belonging.

What’s working well
We asked which site features stand out as your favorites. Unsurprisingly, community interactions took the #1 slot. You’re all about reading and commenting on one another’s entries, forging friendships across time zones, and sharing big moments.

One user nailed it by saying:
“We might be strangers on the internet, but I’ve found more honesty and kindness here than I do on Facebook.”

Other popular mentions include:
- Comment Editing (“It’s saved me from more typos than I care to admit!”)
- The entry backup system
- The front page “New Entries” feed (“I’m a serial refresher!”)

It’s clear that anything that helps you connect or helps to build trust in site stability is a win.

What we can improve
A few themes popped up in the “What could we do better?” category:

Better mobile experience: More than half of you said that writing from your phone can be a bit clunky.

Expanded posting options: There was quite a bit of interest in something like private groups, circles, or “mini-communities” within PB. One user said: “A small group where we can all share on a specific topic — like a workshop or a daily challenge — would keep me writing more consistently.”

I’m excited to share that this is something that’s on our roadmap, so watch this space!

Your favorite part of Prosebox
One of the most powerful themes from your feedback was the overwhelming sense of community. This isn’t a surprise to me at all.
Over and over, you described Prosebox as a haven where folks come together, share life’s ups and downs, and know that someone truly cares.

“This space lets me share my innermost thoughts without fear”
“I love that Prosebox feels like home. Everyone is so genuine”

I love it. Let’s keep that energy going, it’s rough out there right now.

What’s we’re up to
As usual, we’ve been working behind the scenes to optimize the site in various ways. One of the biggest issues we’re still facing is spam, though the entry reporting feature has been super successful. Our next step in the ever-present battle is working on getting rid of the comment spam. We’re also looking into a few spam prevention products out there. Buffy or I will write more about those as we get closer, as they could be visible here and there (though hopefully not in an annoying way).

We’ll be posting more soon about the feature roadmap this year, it’s shaping up to be pretty ambitious. More to come!

<3,
-J

Dude, you are killing it on the spam removal these days. I recently saw that someone had joined PB, mentioning that they had left Open Diary because the spam had become unbearable. I went and looked, and HOLY CRAP, spam has turned OD's main page into a flaming dumpster fire. Some of it's kind of entertaining though. My favorite spam title has to be:

RIGHT AWAY +27633981728 DEATH SPELLS CASTER VOODO REVENGE TO DESTROY ENEMY

josh simple mind ⋅ March 14, 2025

I mean.. that does seem like a compelling entry based on title alone 🤔

Camdengirl March 12, 2025

Excellent - would love a list of those diary circles.... I can think of about 40 topics just off the top of my head - book group, weight loss, parenting, neurodiversity....

santa monica Camdengirl ⋅ March 14, 2025

Yes that was one of my fave features of OD back in the day!

I definitely appreciate that the site has been running more consistently. Would LOVE the option to allow comments from FO if I want and to move multiple entries at once from book to book.

Wow, fascinating survey data! The community clearly values connection. That "hooked right away" quote reminds me of how addictive Fnaf was when it first dropped – a similar sense of immediate investment! Maybe future surveys could explore what makes the community so engaging. Great work compiling this!

Oswego March 20, 2025

Great job and great survey results. This place is indeed a fantastic community of caring people!

重量增加:28g→33g(相當於多帶一顆AAA電池)

https://www.meha-vape.com/
