… and why I do it…
I’ve left this window/tab open for a couple hours. I had an idea when I began it and I’m not sure when and where it went. I think I meant to write a little bit about a lot of things. I hadn’t planned on finishing anything.
Ok.
Teeth. I haven’t been outside the house since I said goodbye to my teeth. I have this big hole in my mouth - it shows pretty good when I smile. I might get something to fill it up but I’m going to wait until I get my heart fixed. I have this big excuse.
Heart. On St. Patrick’s day, next Monday, I go see the surgeon. And plans will be made.
YouTube. I spend a lot of time there. I look at people’s lives and I watch movies and listen to books.
Movies. The Black and the Scarlett. Gregory Peck and Christopher Plummer. WWII. In Rome. An Irish priest saving Jews and Gypsies and excaped Allied soldier from the Germans by the thousands. Gielgud played Pius XII who was still pope when I was a kid. The photograthy/scenery/Rome was beautiful.
The same day watched a movie about JFK’s assassination. Frame of Mind by/with/etc. Carl T. Evans. A little, direct to DVD movie that no one’s ever heard of.
Winter. Feels like it’s pretty much over. It didn’t amount to much this year. When we get another big old winter, it will be a shock.
Spring. I saw a robin out the window the other day.
I’ve been reading Salter - Burning the Days.
I’ve been thinking about my brother.
I’ve been just letting time go by.
By.
Bye.
Buy?
See you all later.
Oh and taxes.

:)
Same.
I've been wanting to check out La Dolce Vita i think, about a journalist who joins the upper crust in Italy and catalogues his debauched adventures; and The Ruling Class, a black comedy from 1971 I was told about.

you could have entitled this entry "as time goes by"... smiles
Thanks for the update especially on your health. Good to know the warmer weather is edging closer to you there and once your surgery is done and you slowly recover a few gentle walks in Spring air will help you heal.
Enjoy your movies, YouTube and books...I know you do. hugs p

I've been wondering how you're doing with your mouth healing. It must be very painful right now. It's a good idea to stay home right now just so you don't pick up any germs before surgery. That meeting with your surgeon is coming right up.

Hoping you're mouth is healing quickly and your meeting with cardiac surgeon goes well tomorrow. Sending good thoughts for it. Take care,
