Sad News in Day by Day

Hi all, my apologies for being MIA. I didn’t realize I’d been gone so long but I read your notes filled with love and will try to get back.

I don’t know details (but will try to find out), but our friend Gypsy-Wynd passed away on February 12, 2025.

She and Dave Dog are together again. I take comfort in that.

I’ll try to get back soon. We were out of state during the hurricane but the house suffered very little damage and by the time we got home, our boys had cleaned, repaired, and helped our neighbors, as well. I am always amazed at how little people prepare for storms. Our supplies, including generators and portable air conditioners were loaned out, which is fine, but, holy cow, was it difficult to get them back.
