So tired in Bittersweet

    Our Virtual assistant is moving on in training. I have her shadowing A today and tomorrow and H later tomorrow. I had to split her up because I didnt have an empty office all day. 
It took some EFFORT to figure out how to get a virtual person to shadow receptionists. and with our intricate scheduling we really need that. 
So how we do it is move the receptionist to an empty office. Move her phone ( dedicated lines) and set her up on my work laptop because I have a beast of a work laptop despite only using it twice a week. And moving her second monitors. Seriously its a lot of wires. Then do a zoom call with the VA. Put the phones on speaker and then walk through everything shes doing with screen share on so  the VA can see her screen and hear what she is doing. 
We do it in an office with the door closed and sound machines on so that we are keeping things private. It took some effort lmao. Its not like anyone is ever wandering our halls anyway. I stood outside the door and couldent hear a thing so i feel confident on it. 

Im hoping she dosent need too much shadowing. Because we really want her to get going. 

the girls are FEELING it though. They got 85% of incoming calls answered and I feel like they are pushing themselves a lot to get there. we can hit 85 when all four are in office. So we got 85 for the entire week that is amazing. Highest ever!! Im proud of them. R said its because im pushing on them. I like to think im encouraging them. BUT I didnt tell them their jobs are safe. They are. We wont fire them. They work hard, Just its not enough. So They work hard and their jobs are safe. I didnt tell them that. I told them we want to pick up the slack and to get to our 90% or better goals. and we just havent. So we found a way to hopefully get there.. Several kinda asked r how this will change things. I say I dont know We are just going to have to wait and see... I want them to feel a bit of pressure... 

We spoke longevity. What we picture long term. I dont expect H to stay in the role, shes 20. or N for that matter. shes 22. We could replace with a VA for substantially less pay and higher projectivity? As they move out, maybe we dont hire more. We picture getting 2-4 Va's over time and then 2 admin assistants who would help me, and help with in person tasks. And phones of course, always phones.

We got a hair of slack about hiring non americans. Well... Their job /work ethic is MUCH better. And while we would pay way better if we could. We go through a company/contractor so we pay them what they tell us. Plus the average wage there is 35 CENTS a day... A day?! What the hell.... Paying them 9 bucks an hour seems like a good deal. We cant offer her bonus's either. Its in the contract. But her work ethic already is way better then half of my team. I keep telling her I dont want her working and studying off the clock. We want to pay you for your time training. But shes going to do what she wants to... which from what I can tell. Is watching videos off time... 
We have just been told that once they get going. They roll. My mother in laws brother goes there all the time and shes been. And they RAVE about their skills. Smart and fast. So we are hopeful shes our missing piece here....

In other news. We are under contract for our 6th building. Its fairly close to our other ones maybe a 3 minute walk? Not as close as the other four. But pretty close! I havent seen it yet, But I think she said 6 offices, plus an out building that is a one bedroom apartment being rented out. They have a lease so we wont break that. But later we can convert to 2 or 3 offices depending on space out there. 
our electrician is going to check it out tomorrow. its contingent on the inspections. We already quit one house we were under contract for, because it had TOO MUCH crap needed. Fingers crossed. It has a yard and we can get the piggies there!!!

Anyway work is going great. I wrote a 30 page policy on hipaa today. yay me.. This is my life some days lmao.... Policies and training. At least my job is safe lmao. 

Home is going good. We havent had a fight in a few weeks so hopefully that means things are going in a good direction. Kids are doing good. B has been back for almost 3 months and hasnt found a job yet. Thats stressful. We work a lot to support everyone and thats hard too. Its ok.. we will be fine.  struggling but fine.
