The discussion questions, 1.7% of my final grade, took about four hours. It was a deep dive into Guillaume Apollinaire. These classes are a boatload of work but are the main thing getting me through. Probably, my French is improving. I got the week off in late April to go back to Minnesota French camp and am taking extra time to go to a wolf sanctuary and drive a scenic highway where there might be moose.
I’m planning this vacation, at the end of April, with more energy and enthusiasm than I am my trip to SC-Florida, which is just a week away. For example, I haven’t booked a hotel, shrinkwrapped the paintings, or bought marijuana for Brett. I feel uncomfortable about transporting marijuana but will do it, yes.
The taxes took about an hour, and I owe $927 Federal but will get $200 back from Ohio.
The basement door (basically a board) has never been good. Today, I noticed how cold it was down there, and I looked, and the door was open because the lock was broken. It’s too complicated to explain. But I’m going to need to do something about that and also about some other house things. I loathe my job. All I really want to do is improve my French.
