Stuck in a truck in Stuff

So my mother found out what's going on with her FaceID not working.  I had suggested asking my sister, as I figured she probably had an Iphone and would know more than me about Apple products.  Anyway, later on that evening, I get a text from my sister - "It. Was. Her. Phone. Screen. It. Needed. Cleaning." LOL.  Apparently they had taken it to a shop that seems to do all sorts of handyman work and the bloke cleaned it for her and it's worked fine since.  I got a text from mum a little later explaining to me what my sister already had, and she said she felt a little bit embarassed haha.  Luckily, there was no charge.  But I mean, I guess we're all as silly as each other - it hadn't even crossed my mind when I was sitting across from her that the lens might just be smudged haha.  I had her squinting and everything at it trying to get it to recognise her :D

I'm finally all settled in here, I think.  Yesterday was the first day I'd had to actually sit and do as little as possible, and it was nice.  I still feel a little weird living here, but I've only been here coming up three weeks now, and I certainly feel more at home here already than I did in a year and a half at the other place.  I think I've already mentioned this, but I can see both my old residences from my bedroom window here - one directly and the other is the building, as my apartment before here is on the other side.  But I still find it a bit crazy.

Work's been busy, which is good, as it goes fast.  I only found out today that our store is getting a refit soon.  It feels like we only just had one!  But we're getting a barista station installed, so everything's gotta move.  That'll be interesting.  I also had to sign a team-talk today because some idiot got stuck in a delivery truck last week.  Yep.  Truck took off with the person inside LOL.  And it happened at the store not far from mine.  So because of that incident, we have to take the god-damn *keys* from the driver, put them in a lock-box, and give them back to the driver when they are finished unloading the trucks.  Lord help us.  What a waste of time.  This is why we can't have nice things!
